City #3 - New York - 1996

ENG - the third big city (and a bit crazy). It was a very free version of New York. Why New York? Because it is the most famous city in the United States, and we saw it in every movie. I made this drawing with my sister in mind. She had just moved to the United States to live and study. The idea I had was to send her this picture in a letter, but in the end... I didn't do it... I'm sorry sister... :(

Again, I decided to take it a step further, and turn the city into a "Where's Wally" game, where you had to find several things. It was made in an A4, with the front being the drawing itself, and the rear, the guide to finding fun things. My classmates used to play with it.

ESP - la tercera gran cuidad (y un poco loca). Se trataba de una versión muy libre de Nueva York. ¿Por qué Nueva York? Porque esla ciudad más famosa de Estados Unidos y la veíamos en todas las películas. Hice este dibujo con mi hermana en mente. Ella acababa de mudarse los Estados Unidos para vivir y estudiar. La idea que yo tenía era enviarle esto en una carta, pero al final no lo hice... lo siento hermana... :(

De nuevo, decidí dar un paso más allá, y convertir la ciudad en una juego tipo "Dónde está Wally", en donde había que encontrar varias cosas. Se hizo en un A4, siendo el frontal el dibujo en si, y la trasera, la guía para encontrar cosas divertidas. Mis compañeros de clase solían jugar divertidos.
