Super Mario World II - 1995

ENG - Shortly before the launch of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's island in Spain, I made this drawing with the game main characters: baby Mario and baby Luigi. I didn´t play the game yet, and I´ve only seen some photos in magazines. That´s why I filled the backgrounds with elements from Super Mario World, Super Mario Land and Super Mario Bros 3. Elements from other things that are not exactly Mario´s, are even there... some even quite Spanish. This was always one of my favorite drawings as a achild. The FX porridge thing (misspelled...), is because of a comment in an article in Nintendo Action magazine. It said that the FX was an extra chip that was added to the Super Nintendo cartridges. That gave them bigger capacity.

ESP - Poco antes del lanzamiento de Super Mario World 2: Yoshi´s island en España, realicé este dibujo con los personajes protagonistas. Como aún no había jugado al juego, y apenas había visto algunas fotos en revistas, rellené los fondos con elementos del Super Mario World, Super Mario Land y Super Mario Bros 3. Incluso se dejan ver elementos de otras cosas que no son precisamente de Mario... algunas incluso bastante españolas. Este siempre fue uno de mis dibujos favoritos. Lo de las papillas FX (mal escrito...), es por un comentario de un articulo de la revista Nintendo acción que decía eso. El FX era un chip extra que se añadía los cartuchos de l Super Nintendo, para que tuvieran mayor capacidad.
